Writing, grammar, and spelling
Curriculum for This Week:
In ELA this week, students will be reviewing the different genres of writing, including how to write a constructed response. Some students are still struggling with what it means to restate a question in sentence form, so we will also practice that. Before the break, students did an informational and narrative piece, and we will be analyzing those responses and learning how we can improve our writing by looking at samples of each other's work.
Sentence structure continues to be our focus, but we will also review prefixes, suffixes, and roots this week and next.
